Wimbledon Magician performs at the Bar 191

Living close to the capital I am often asked to perform there this time as a Wimbledon Magician both with close-up and cabaret magic. On this occasion everything was just perfect. Let me explain.

It is always nice to be re-booked. Nearly two years ago I performed at a company Christmas party in the heart of London at Zetter Townhouse. I remember it distinctly partly because it was held in January. It was great fun, only a small number of guests attended, and by the end they were all crowding round.

Nearly a year and a half later I got an email from Andy who attended the party asking if I would perform at his 40th birthday party celebrations. I was obviously delighted.

The Venue

Bar 191 is situated in Raynes Park, not far from Wimbledon in London. It offers several different menus and can cater for up to 60 guests. It is ideal for private parties and celebrations. It is beautifully light from the front and is furnished in real wood. Parking is easy and it is easily accessible via public transport.

The Audience

This was a large affair with more than fifty guests in a fine Tapas Bar in South West London. With company events, guests tend to know each other and often very well. How often have we heard people say they see their work colleagues more often than family members?

With birthday parties people often come together from different areas of the hosts life and don’t know each other so well. On this occasion there was a great diversity of people in a very energetic room.

I found myself trying new material with certain groups who were hungry for more.
