Hertfordshire Wedding Magician at Mayflower Place

This Christmas I worked as a Hertfordshire wedding magician at Mayflower Place. I had worked for the client many times before. So, it was nice to great and meet old friends.

The father of the bride run’s a large company and I had been fortunate to have worked hospitality for him. Indeed I have been to several wonderful corporate hospitality sections in major sporting venues. Sometimes I get the chance to watch the action from a grandstand seat.

Mayflower Place

The May Flower Place is located off the A414 between Hertford and Hatfield (signposted ‘Hertingfordbury’). Countess Cowper built it in 1910. It was to be a fitting tribute to her late husband Earl Francis Thomas de Grey. However whilst the countess was on holiday in France she died. The date, 1913, the building was yet to be complete. The Countess did not see it in all its glory.

It was bought in 1954 by East Hertfordshire Lodge and the name was also changed to Mayflower Place. The building is now used for many different activities including Woman’s Institute, Rotary Clubs and Weddings.

Working as a Hertfordshire Wedding Magician

Living in St Albans, I consider myself a Hertfordshire Magician and it is always nice to work locally. Mayflower Place is not on the beaten track. However, this is part of its charm. There are many stately homes and high-end corporate venues tucked around the county. So I’m often working in the area. There are great venues for weddings so working as a Hertfordshire Wedding Magician is quite common.

Sarah Webb was the Wedding Planner at Timeless Inspirations. She had created a wonderful ambience perfect for close up magic.
