Watford Magician at the NHS Awards

Watford Magician with FC Logo

It was nice to be back as a Watford Magician at the Premiership Football Club.

The last time I was at Watford Football Club was on the 9th of May 2006. I watched a rather boring and disjointed nil-nil draw between Watford and Crystal Palace. But it did the job and got the club through to the final which they eventually won against Leeds United a few weeks later.

I lived for many years on St Albans Road and often worked locally as a Watford Magician. Consequently, I performed for a number of Watford players early in my career.

The playoff took place over ten years ago. Watford FC has since refurbished throughout. The corrugated iron fencing has gone and the logo’s updated. The Sir Elton John Stand comes complete with one of his most famous lyrics.

The Captain’s Bar is beautifully decorated making it perfect for any corporate event.

Watford Magician for the NHS

It was nice to be back amongst NHS staff again. For seven years I was a paramedic in London before becoming a full-time close-up magician. Employees received awards for long service. I left the LAS in 2002. Consequently it surprised me not to see old friends. The longest-serving was over forty years, a remarkable achievement.

Awards

Award ceremonies are not always easy because a lot is going on and it can be difficult to get the work done. However, this event was an exception. The awards took place early, followed by a high tea where I could move from group to group performing table magic.

I still live close to the club so if you are looking for a Hertfordshire Magician for an event, private or corporate, please do call or email us via the booking page. You can also see videos and photographs in the gallery.
