Warwickshire Close Up Magician at Coombe Abbey

This week Tj was asked to perform as a Warwickshire Close Up Magician at Coombe Abbey near Birmingham and Stratford. This adds to many venues and events he has been invited to throughout the county.

The Event

Combe Abbey, is located near Coventry in Warwickshire, England, is a historic country house with a fascinating past. Dating back to the 12th century, it offers luxurious accommodation, stunning gardens, and a beautiful lake. The abbey’s rich history and elegant surroundings make it a popular venue for weddings, events, and leisurely visits.

There are over one hundred rooms and it is set in five hundred acres of woodland. It was built as a Cistercian Abbey in the twelfth century. It has undergone extensive renovations and is now quite glorious.

It is ideal for weddings and conferences. On this occasion, Deloitte had taken over the marquee for the evening to celebrate the examination results of its students. This is what we would broadly call corporate magic. It was very informal with no sit down meal or band at the end of the evening. The guests were clearly relaxed having finished their studies. It made for a delightful evening, working with colleagues and sometimes combining tricks.
