Edinburgh Magician at the Fringe with Devious Minds
I am a little over a month away from the trip north to work as an Edinburgh Magician at one of the most competitive arts festivals in the world. From the 14th of August to the 22nd we will be in the thick of it, a printers gold mine as leaflets are scattered around coffee shops and bars. After a successful national tour, we thought it would be fun to brave one of the most difficult but rewarding arena’s and have booked a 10-day slot at The Merchant’s Hall.
We decided to create a new modern look for this years comedy magic show. Which you can see below. We felt we captured the central themes of the show. However, on our return and in the years that followed we went back to a more corporate look and had a great deal of success with it.
The Venue
Merchant’s Hall in Edinburgh is a historic venue located on Hanover Street. Built in 1722, it showcases stunning Georgian architecture and serves as a prestigious location for various events, including weddings, conferences, and private functions. With its elegant interior and rich heritage, it offers a unique and charming setting in the heart of the city.
It comprises of some stately rooms, one of which was booked for our performances. The grandeur added to the show and we felt very at home given the ambience.
Magic Shows in Edinburgh
There are several other Edinburgh magic shows going up this summer and some high profile magicians are amongst them, but we feel we have a modern and dynamic show which the public will like. If you’re planning a trip do look us up, on the Fringe Website.
