Birmingham Close Up Magician at the NEC

Recently I performed as a Birmingham close up magician at the NEC for Boots. A corporate evening for management and staff. This was a significant event with hundreds of tables and many magicians and other performers working during the evening. It is always nice to perform alongside other professionals, both magicians and allied arts.

The Venue

The NEC (National Exhibition Centre) in Birmingham is one of the UK’s premier event venues. Situated in the West Midlands, it’s renowned for hosting a wide array of exhibitions, trade shows, concerts, and conferences.

The NEC is a vast place with many function rooms and arenas. Getting lost in the maze of buildings and car parks is easy.

The company, Boots, was founded in 1849 by John Boot in Nottingham, UK, it is a well-known pharmaceutical and health and beauty retail company. It operates a vast network of stores across the UK and Ireland, offering a wide range of healthcare products, cosmetics, and pharmacy services. Boots has a long-standing reputation for quality and accessibility in the healthcare and beauty sectors.
