Cambridge Party Magician at Trinity Hall Christmas Event

This Christmas, Cambridge party magician TJ Shoesmith appeared at Trinity Hall. He was back working as a Cambridgeshire Magician over the festive season. He had worked for this company several times before. Mainly as a close up magician and has always looked forward to seeing them.

This time, he entertained at the staff party, which was held one lunchtime in December after a carol service. The tables were long, making it difficult, but it worked very well with the buffet-style service.

Different departments were attending. Indeed, it turned out to be a lively affair, particularly given it was a lunchtime event. Often lunchtime events are a little low-key. The main reason is that some participants will return to work in the afternoon. This does not always stop members from letting their hair down, but it has an effect.

As he was about to leave, the organiser asked me if I would be willing to entertain the waiters and waitresses. This turned out to be a delightful experience. There were a relatively small number of guests. So, he was able to work as a table magician, which means that certain magical effects that are generally not possible can be done.

I have been working on a few new tricks over the Christmas period and this gave me a chance to try them out.

During the festive season, this was his only job in the centre of Cambridge, but he also entertained in the surrounding area a few times. The weather has been extremely kind this year, a huge advantage. As you can see from the photo, it was a cold but beautiful day.
