Magician at Opening of Milton Road Library
I will be working as a Cambridge Stage Magician as we approach Christmas. Devious Minds tours again in the autumn. We are proud to be joining “The Library Presents”, an initiative by Cambridge County Council to bring different art forms to Libraries throughout the region.
On the 28th of September, Milton Road Library was officially opened, having been recently demolished and rebuilt. I provide close up magic during the celebration to publicise the new tour.
Cambridge Magician meets the Mayor
Cllr Gerri Bird, the Cambridge Mayor, was present for the unveiling of the new plaque.
This was a fun job, with many great characters and a wide range of ages. The new library is very spacious and boasts excellent facilities. It has a modern look. There is also a large painting of the old library for those who feel nostalgic.
Our show Devious Minds, will include some close up magic projected onto a screen as well as stage magic and illusions. So, it was great to do walkabout magic and to meet people interested in what we do.
Demolition has been prevalent in the area. Also, the Milton Road Junior School, which I attended for five years, has been relocated. What used to be a primary school, with the hustle and bustle of young lives, is now a block of flats and a residential home.
The Devious Mind tour dates are
Firstly, Cambourne Library on the 16th of October and Milton Road Library on the 26th of October. Secondly, we are also at Wisbech Library on the 22nd of November.
Devious Minds is a magic and mentalism show ideal for all over seven. Cambridge Stage Magician, Tj, has been touring with the show throughout the UK and Edinburgh over the last eight years.
If you are holding an event this autumn and are looking at entertainment in Cambridge, why not consider hiring a magician.
