Cambridgeshire Magician For Hire?
TJ Shoesmith Cambridgeshire Magician available throughout the county.
Local Cambridge Magician
When Tj Shoesmith first became a professional Cambridgeshire Magician in 2001, Cambridge was the first place he worked. He moved to the city when he was five years old and spent most of his childhood there.
TJ was a member of the Pentacle Club, a local magic group with excellent and experienced performers. So, he learnt in the best environment. This was ideal for a young Cambridgeshire magician. He has since been back to the club to lecture on close-up magic, stage magic and theatrical technique. He talks about how he first joined the Pentacle Magic club in his article, “A Cambridge Magician – Childhood Memories“.
Cambridge has provided much work for TJ, with many appearances at the local colleges. These included Kings and Fitzwilliam. Trumpington Hall, Downing College and Trinity Hall, and many private events. Indeed, he has been invited back three times to perform as a close up magician for the same company at The Saltmarsh Rooms.
He has performed at many private parties in the city, The Milton Road Library and the local ITV station.
It was great meeting you and everyone loved the magic you did for them. Your tricks were great. Thanks again and hope you continue to have success in your career. You’re great, and a nice guy. I’ll pass your name along to anyone who may be able to use you in the future.

Cambridge companies include John Lewis, Audley End House and Gardens, Chilford Hall and The Revolution Bar, and sporting venues, including Cambridge Rugby Club and Ramsey Golf and Bowls Club.
He has also travelled to the villages that surround Cambridge. He has appeared at The Bridge in Waterbeach, The Pavilion in Longstanton, Burwell, and Slepe Hall Hotel St Ives.
Cambridgeshire Magician reflects
It is the most remarkable city, nicknamed Cycle City by the CB radio users many years ago as you can’t move for pedestrians and cyclists. With its mixture of listed buildings and modern offices, it has something for everyone. He even entered the Buskers Competition as a street magician, Cambridge voted, but he was not a winner on this occasion.
I have travelled to many beautiful places while working as a magician, but I love to return to Cambridge, particularly at Christmas.
